Congratulations to FHC, earlier this month their seventh annual Francis Howell Central Coaches vs. Cancer “Paint it Pink” night raised over $3,000! With funds raised from T-shirt sales, 50/50 raffles, “Wall of Hope”, and the “Miracle Minute”, FHC will donate $3,322 to the American Cancer Society’s “Coaches vs. Cancer” program. The donation will be made in memory of Todd Bizzell, a former Saeger Middle School and FHC teacher and coach who passed away last summer. Over the last seven years, Howell Central has donated an AMAZING total of $20,636 to this GREAT cause!

Coaches vs. Cancer began as a collaboration between the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the American Cancer Society. Now encompassing all sports, the program offers coaches a unique opportunity to fight a disease that affects so many.  More than 2,100 high school and college coaches across the nation participate in Coaches vs. Cancer.
