Gateway Nominees

Every year the Missouri Association of School Librarians presents a list of fifteen books that represents the best current youth literature available to students in grades 9-12.  This list of Gateway nominees is named such "because reading is the gateway to knowledge and lifelong learning, because the teen years are the gateway to adulthood, and because Missouri was the Gateway to the West". The award is voted on by high school students throughout the state of Missouri.
