| Delirium by Lauren Oliver is this quarter's Book Club selection. "Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing." With excellent reviews, Delirium promises to be a memorable book for all.
“Strong characters, a vivid portrait of the lives of teens in a repressive society, and nagging questions that can be applied to our world today make this book especially compelling and discussable.”
– School Library Journal starred review
“Oliver’s artfully detailed prose reveals, brick by brick, the sturdy dramatic foundation of an initially implausible premise…. The abrupt ending leaves enough unanswered questions to set breathless readers up for volume two of this trilogy.”
– Kirkus, starred review
"Oliver writes beautifully, with well-measured mastery. The references to The Book of Shhh and The Safety, Health and Happiness Handbook, 12th edition, are exquisitely artful touches."
– NPR’s “Hooray for YA: Teen Novels for Readers of All Ages”
