General Epsilon Beta Information

How do you join Epsilon Beta?

Fill out our interest form online (paper available), submit your contract and dues by September 11th. Dues are $20 for new members & $10 for returning members. Dues cover state dues, club supplies, and the cost of a varsity letter. (Limited scholarships are available. Confidentially talk to a Mrs. LaMartina or Mrs. Head.)

How often do you meet?
We meet monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Attend a meeting either before school from 7:00-7:15 or after school from 2:30-2:45 on the following dates: TBD for 16-17 school year

What is Epsilon Beta's purpose?
Epsilon Beta is a service club for readers. Its purpose is to emphasize the importance of literacy in our school and community and to support the library learning commons. For more specific information, view our contractlettering policy, & officer document.

Where do you meet?
We meet in the 'Collaboration Corner' in the Learning Commons. (It's the room in the back near the non-fiction.)

How do I sign up for volunteering opportunities?
Sign up for
volunteering opportunities both here @ FHC & at our feeder elementary schools. The clipboard is underneath our bulletin board as you enter the LC. Earn those points!

How do you stay in contact between meetings?
We have a bulletin board at the entrance of the Learning Commons. We also send out text and/or email (you choose) reminders & information through Remind. No phone number or email address exchange needed. Stop by the learning commons to sign up for this invaluable service. If you're on Twitter, you can also follow EB tweets @epsilonbetafhc.
