Q. What time does the Learning Commons open and close?A. The Learning Commons is open 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Monday through Friday.
Q. How long can I check out a book?A. Students can check out a book for 2 weeks. Can't finish in 2 weeks?
Ask for a longer check out or stop by and renew your book. No Problem!
Q. Do you charge fines for overdue books?A. Yes, a fine of 10¢ per day is charged.
Q. Can I go to the Learning Commons throughout the day?A. During school hours, students need a pass from their classroom teacher to go to the Learning Commons. During lunch, be sure to get a pass in the cafeteria and come visit!
Q. Can I print my documents?A. Yes, school related documents are free. Personal documents are 10¢ per page. When printing, select BW1.
Color printing is 25¢ per page.
Q. Is the Learning Commons Catalog available at home?A. Yes, a link is available on the home page of this website. You can search for materials, place holds, review books, or use the available databases.
Q. Is there an app available for the catalog, eBooks & audiobooks?
A. Yes! Visit the Apple or Google Play store and search for 'Destiny Discover.' Ask a Learning Commons staff member for more information.
Q. How do I access the databases from home?A. Stop by the Learning Commons and get a list of the user names and passwords for each of the available databases.
